Lolo church hosting Canadian Habitat for Humanity group

Lolo Community Church is home to Habitat for Humanity this weekend the Manitoba Canada Chapter is passing through as part of their cycle of Hope event it’s almost an 800 mile ride through biking and fundraising to build a young family a new home organizer Ian Hughes is on his eighth trip with cycle of hope every year we just by this event have raised enough money to buy to build one house so I think every time I’m on this event I built a house for somebody who needed a house for somebody whose life is being changed by what we did today 27 cyclists are part of this journey and they are already raised over $100,000 to build one of these homes the home being built will go to a young family that immigrated to Canada participant Rita Maurier says her favorite part is how passionate this group is you’re saying well I shouldn’t be getting so much if I’m giving but we are you know this is this and and the whole family aspect of being a group and doing this as a group to support a family to have a home sico for hope was started informed by President Jimmy Carter in Winnipeg in 1993 the group’s next stop is in Dillon and the cyclists will make their way to Yellowstone to round out that trip
