Installing wordpress to the real linux hosting in the easy way for beginners. Part # 1


Hello and welcome to the wordpress tutorial I am showing you how to install wordpress in cpanel directly I’ll install wordpress in one of my domain which is hosted in a shared hosting First we’ll download wordpress installation file I’ll download it from wordpress.org Click Download WordPress to download the installation files Click here to download First login to Website’s Cpanel This is Cpanel interface Right click on the File Manager and click Open link in a ne tab Here we’ll upload the wordpress installation ZIP file Click on the Upload Click Choose File Select the zip file And Click Open The file is uploading In the mean time we’ll create database and user Click on the MySQL Database Wizard Type the name of the Database Click Next Step Type the Database Username Create a new password by typing Database password Or you can generate password by clicking Password Generator Copy the password Tick this check box Click Use Password Paste the password in a notepad Click Create User Copy the Database name and user and paste it in a notepad Put tick on the ALL PRIVILEGES check box Click Next Step Ok, the Database and Database User has created And the Installation zip file also uploaded Go to the File Manager tab and click on Go button This the wordpress installation zip file and select this Click the Extract button Click Extract File(s) The zip file is extracting When extraction is completed click Close to close this window Go to the WordPress folder Click Select All Click Move File to Move all files from the wordpress folder to the root For this just delete the wordpress folder name and click Move File(s) button Here are the all extracted files which are moved from wordpress folder to the root directory Rename the wp-config-sample.php Click Rename button Change the file name as wp-config.php Click Rename File We’ll edit this wp-config.php file Select the file and Click Edit and Edit bitton Here are the database iformation We’ll replace the existing database name, username and password with our created database information Copy and paste the database name here Replace the database username by copying and pasting the database username from the notepad And replace the password here The host name should be same “localhost’ Some hosting providers use their IP as hostname instead of localhost Now click Save button to save this file Now open a new tab of your browser and type your domain name This page will appear Select your Language Click Continue button Type the Site Title Type a username . This will be your admin panel login username You can set any other username rather than admin This is auto generated admin password. You can manually set your custom password Copy the password and paste it in a notepad to keep record type the email address. This will be the admin email address You can enter any of your personal email address here If you select this checkbox now search engine will index your website Click Install WordPress button And the installation of wordpress website is completed If you click Login you’ll go to the login panel Login to your website’s admin panel in this way This is the admin panel or back end of your wordpress website And this is the front end of the website This is the base theme of wordpress In our one of next tutorial I’ll disscuss about how we can change the wordpress website’s theme.
