How to fix “Hosted network status: Not available” in Command Prompt

Make sure to Turn on the Wi-Fi… Press Win + X and select Command Prompt (Admin)… If you haven’t turned on the Wi-Fi, then also you’ll get the error “The hosted network couldn’t be started…” while attempting to turn on hotspot… Now this is the major issue we’re going to fix… “Status: Not available”.. this could occur if you’ve accidently disabled the Hosted network… Minimize the CMD window.. press Win + X again and select Device Manager… Select View → Show hidden devices… Now under Network Adapters, you could see “Microsoft Hosted Network Virtual Adapter”… Right click on it and select Enable… Now take CMD again… Try to view the status again… You could see the status in now “Not started”.. which mean it’s ready for start… Try turning on the hotspot again… Yeah.. it started without an issue..
