How to Change GoDaddy Name Server & point to Bluehost

Hi guys, this is Harsh and in this quick video,
I am going to show you how you can change name server of a domain brought from GoDaddy.
so in this scenario, I have a web hosting from BlueHost and my domain is hosted on GoDaddy,
so what I will be doing is I will be updating the name server of my domain to point it to
BlueHost and then I can move ahead and install WordPress and do various activities on my
BlueHost account. So I assume you already have a domain bought form GoDaddy. So once
you are inside your GoDaddy account, click on ‘All Products’-‘Domain’ and ‘Domain Management’.
So once you are there, you will see a list of all the domains that you have in your account.
So I will simply select the domain for which you want to change the name server. Click
on ‘Name server’- ‘Set name server’. Now you will be offered with many options, select
the option which says ‘I have specific name server for my domain’, so if you bought hosting
from HostGator, BlueHost, DreamHost; you just need to enter the name server provided by
your web hosting company. So in my case, it’s BlueHost, so I will be adding, so that’s
a default name server of BlueHost webhosting. Click on ‘Okay’ and that’s it. in normal
scenario, the name server changes takes 1-2 hours or in worst case scenario, it can take
up to 48 hours, what I recommend if you are facing the problem with the name server replication,
simply change your system DNS. You can use google DNS (an open DNS) and you will be able
to see the name server replication in no time. That’s it for now and thank you for watching.
