and it got canceled. And you called me and I was
like, “Aw, this is nice. You’re calling to console me.” -Nope.
-And you weren’t. -You were like,
“Yeah, so what’s next?
-No. -What are we doing?”

on the sketch show in a number of sketches. ISSA RAE: It was intimidating,-but it was so much fun.
-Was it? I– It was intimidating also
because I knew that I was gonna break it
every scene, which I did. But yeah, it was scary.
It was like all these women are at the top of their game.
They’re killing it.They get to be goofy
in a way.The guest actors and actresses
that came who were just game-to have a good time
-Yeah. and have fun and it shows. That’s what we talked about
a lot, was being able
to provide this spacefor black women in comedy
at all levels.I think what also makes
this show so unique is that while
it’s specifically cast, it’s also universally funny. People are gonna be blown away, I think, by what they see
